# Everything to Markdown

> A free browser tool that converts clipboard content to editable Markdown, previews LaTeX math and Mermaid diagrams, and copies formatted articles. No account is required.

Product features:
- Paste selected content from web pages or document editors. Convert rich HTML headings, lists, links, images, code, and tables to Markdown.
- Copy cells from Excel or Google Sheets to create Markdown tables. Supported conversions handle merged headers, spanning cells, and multi-line cells. The result contains copied values, not a live workbook.
- Paste plain text, Markdown, or supported text-drawn tables. Edit the Markdown and see the formatted preview.
- Recognize text, tables, and formulas in screenshots and clipboard images up to 10 MB. Recognition results need review.
- Preview inline and display LaTeX math and Mermaid source. Examples include flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and Gantt charts.
- Use Copy formatted text to copy HTML with a Markdown plain-text fallback. Formulas and diagrams are copied as PNG images.
- Use WeChat Article and Copy for WeChat for articles intended for WeChat Official Accounts, with inline styles and numbered external-link references.
- Choose whether to keep links and images. Align tables adds padding to Markdown source columns for readability.

Text and HTML conversion, math rendering, and diagram rendering run in the browser. Clipboard images are uploaded for recognition. Linked preview images may contact their host websites. Clipboard formats and pasted output depend on the source app, browser, and destination editor.

Supported input is clipboard content, not file uploads or file drops. PDF, DOCX, and XLSX files are not accepted directly. Pasting a URL keeps the URL; it does not fetch the page. LaTeX support covers mathematical expressions, not complete .tex documents. A diagram screenshot cannot be reconstructed as Mermaid source.
